A restaurant directory, not a seller

Dimey is a restaurant directory. Dimey is not the restaurant, does not sell food, and does not take bookings or payments. Listings from public sources and community submissions may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date; they are not an offer or promise by Dimey. Confirm availability, prices, taxes, fees, schedules, conditions, and allergens with the restaurant before ordering. Dietary notes are not guarantees about ingredients or preparation.

Community submissions and activity

Submit information you reasonably believe is accurate and are allowed to share. Do not post your or another person's personal information, spam, unlawful material, or prose or photos you do not own or have permission to use.

By sharing a find, you give Dimey non-exclusive permission to store, review, edit for clarity or moderation, and publicly display the information you submit as part of Dimey's directory. Only share information you are entitled to share.

Votes and flags report activity; they do not prove accuracy, and a flag does not automatically remove a listing. Dimey reviews submissions before publication but does not verify every listing with a restaurant or source.

Moderation, accounts, and fair use

Dimey may edit, reject, hide, or remove submissions to maintain the directory, enforce these terms, or meet legal obligations. Keep account access private; do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent who submitted a find.

Do not abuse votes or flags, make abusive automated requests, bypass rate limits, probe or disrupt security, or interfere with others' use of Dimey. We may restrict access to address abuse or protect the service.

Third-party services and links

Linked services run by others and have their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not imply Dimey endorses or is affiliated with a service unless we say so. These terms grant no right to copy linked material or override a provider's rules.

Dimey's work and other people's rights

Where protected by law, Dimey owns its name, branding, visual design, and original text. Third-party marks and content remain with their owners. Dimey does not claim ownership of restaurant facts such as prices, addresses, or schedules.

For a copyright report or listing correction, use Dimey's contact form. Include the page or listing URL, identify and explain the material, and provide reply details. We will review the report.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Dimey and its listings are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dimey disclaims warranties, express or implied, concerning the accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, or suitability of listing information.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dimey and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of revenue, profits, business, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with any listing, reliance on listing information, or use of or inability to use Dimey. This includes claims relating to incorrect prices, expired or unavailable offers, opening hours, locations, dietary information, or a restaurant's goods or services, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, even if Dimey has been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.

Nothing in this section excludes liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, or excludes or limits any liability, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where applicable law does not permit a particular exclusion, that exclusion applies only to the extent permitted by law.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in British Columbia and Canada, subject to mandatory laws and rights that apply to you.
